Our Story

Igwa Experience ()IgwaXp is inspired from Kikuyu name for Sugarcane (Kigwa).

Our purpose is to make life's Journey more Joyful for our users through sweet experiences. The Sugarcane plant to the Agikuyu (one of the many tribes in Kenya) was a significant plant that was used in the making of a traditional drink that was consumed in celebratory ceremonies where blessings were parood on

The stem of the sugarcane plant has many rings and as the stem grows in length, the sweetness of the stem increases as you move towards the root of the tree. The blessing that was passed on was an intention and recognition that life has different stages but as the individual goes through their different stages, may their life get sweeter and sweeter.

This does not refused to acknowledge that life does have its ups and downs in its journey but it is the hope and intention of Igwa Experience (IgwaXp) that we may make your personal journey and life more Joyful through sweet experiences.
